It comes as no surprise to anyone when government MPs come out with incredible audacity and cynicism to attack citizens, citizens in general and not just their voters, saying that “free money is dead”, meaning that anyone who doesn’t have money is dead, according to ND MP in Achaia Christina Alexopoulou.
She probably doesn’t know that there is a housing crisis in the country, she probably doesn’t know that austerity has brought Greek households to their knees, just as the same member of parliament, a while ago, in a television window, did not answer questions from a livestock farmer with the answer that she does not participate in public debate, only to receive the answer that she herself does not know how to distinguish a sheep from a goat.
With such a tone and such cynicism, how could she even apologize?
